You’ve made this since childhood. Now it’s time to teach younger ones to prepare this effortless dessert.
Ingredients
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
⅛ cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 (9-inch) graham cracker crust
Canned pie filling (strawberry, cherry or blueberry)
Instructions
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the sweetened condensed milk and cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the lemon juice and extract. Transfer to the crust and refrigerate at least 4 hours before topping with the canned pie filling of your choice. Slice to serve and refrigerate leftovers.
