Flourless Oatmeal Chocolate Bars
 
Ingredients
  • 4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (around 6 bananas)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, divided
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line an 8-by-8-inch square pan with parchment paper, hanging 2 inches over the sides. In a mixing bowl, combine the oats, almond butter, maple syrup and bananas. Stir until well mixed. Fold in ¾ cup of the chocolate chips. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Add the remaining chocolate chips to the top. Bake for 15–17 minutes or until golden around the edges. Let stand on a wire rack for 10 minutes before removing from the pan and placing on the wire rack to cool completely.
