Bledsoe’s 11th Annual 18th Century Colonial Fair

Historic re-enactors will recreate history and life at the site of the original Bledsoe’s Fort, Rogan Cottage, Parker Cabin and Hunley Cabin. The fair will showcase many different aspects of life at the fort site, including a longhunter’s camp, military camp and a native encampment for full immersion into the18th century period at Bledsoe’s Fort. Visitors are welcome to shop on Traders Row for colonial guns, knives, arts and crafts, clothing, pottery and so much more! There will also be educational demonstrations, colonial games, live animals and a children’s area that will allow them to step back in time. For the children, there is also colonial clothing that will be available to be rented for the day! Everyone is invited to take a walk through the woods and explore the trace, get hands-on experience with real-life 18th century demonstrations or come kick up your heels during the Big Dance that will have everyone stepping back into the 18th century life at Bledsoe’s Fort Colonial Fair. Don’t miss the magic shows, strolling minstrels, musicians and street performers that are only part of our grand Colonial Fair.
