Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build empowers women to take the hammer and take the lead to help lower-income families in their own communities build and purchase safe, affordable housing.

This year, the organization will be partnering with the Searria Peoples and her four children to build their new home in Columbia. The 2021 Women Build will be smaller this year with limited volunteer opportunities in light of the pandemic, but what won’t change will be the need to raise $70,000 to pay for the home’s “bricks and sticks” through the Hammers and High Heels fundraiser!
