Proceeds from the annual gem, mineral, jewelry and fossil show go to scholarships at East Tennessee State University and the University of Tennessee. The event features 20 gem, mineral and jewelry dealers from across the U.S. as well as mineral and fossil grab bags and educational activities for children. The gemstone and rock and mineral ID day is Saturday (sorry, no appraisals).
