Music City Colloquy with Andrew Peterson
Tue., November 13, 11:00 am-12:00 pm| Free
“Andrew Peterson, in my opinion, is one of the most important and interesting people making Christ-focused music right now, and I can’t wait for his visit to Trevecca on Nov. 13. Andrew is an incredible singer-songwriter who has achieved astonishing success as a mostly independent artist. His songs dig deep into the human experience and reflect both theological depth and emotional diversity. He’s also just plain fun to listen to! Plus Andrew is the author of several acclaimed Young Adult fantasy novels, The Wingfeather Saga, (currently being turned into an animated series) and is the curator of both the Rabbit Room blog and that community’s annual gathering, the Hutchmoot Conference. Andrew will join us for Chapel on the 13th of November, followed by a special Music City Colloquy event in the Zelma Waggoner Performance Hall in the Jackson Building.” – John J. Thompson (Associate Dean; School of Music and Worship Arts)
Directions: When you enter the very front of the school, you will continue to go straight. You will come to a round-a-bout, and you will go straight through it. Continue straight until you reach the Jackson Music Building on your left-hand side (you will see the big stone pillars). Park anywhere in the front or back!
