Visit the 100th anniversary of the Scopes Trial, the “world’s most famous trial.” Join in Rhea County to watch Destiny in Dayton, the real story of the Scopes “Evolution” Trial, in the courtroom where the trial was held in 1925. Celebrate the Trial’s centennial with free activities on the courthouse lawn. Visit the Rhea Heritage & Scopes Trial Museum. Talk with descendants of trial participants.
