The Festival of the Lakes 2016 will be a three-day event celebrating our country’s independence. These fun-filled days will include arts, crafts, food, games and activities for the kids and, of course, our famous Scott’s BBQ cook off.
Activities on Saturday, July 2, include boat races and Miss Festival of the Lakes Pageant, local talent parody.
Sunday will see Christian entertainment and The Greatest Apple Pie Cookoff with local nonprofits competing for the title and you are judge.
On Monday there will be a military fly-in, Festival of the Lakes star talent competition with celebrity Judges, “A Little bit Country and a lot of Rock n Roll” with Kimberly Helton, David Kroll, Journey and headliner Kansas. And a fireworks extravaganza begins at dark.
