Garden-lovers of all ages will find the inspiration, advice, community and plants they seek at the seventh annual FREE UT Master Gardeners of Davidson County Urban Gardening Festival at Ellington Agricultural Center.

Local and nationally known speakers offer advice on amending soil, building backyard green houses, reviving your roses, gardening to feed your family, recognizing disease in troubled trees, tackling pest control and more. Nearly 100 exhibitors will be on site to teach about all aspects of gardening.

The Garden Center features affordable, quality herbs, perennials, pollinators, and vegetables, along with crafts, pottery, salves, compost, and more for sale. In the Chef Tent, learn how to make your own fermented spring vegetables, pesto with a twist, and your own herb jellies. The Children’s Tent hosts fun, hands-on activities while live music will be provided by Bill and Melanie Davis and Becky McCloud.
