Nolensville Volunteer Fire Department

The Nolensville Volunteer Fire Department (NVFD) protects approximately 12,500 citizens within its 32-square-mile district. The NVFD was founded as a community action project of the Nolensville JAYCEES in 1973; the department purchased its first pumper fire truck that same year. In 1974, the first fire hall was established behind what is now Nolensville Auto Care. Currently, the NVFD has 37 volunteer firefighters providing fire protection and answering more than 600-plus calls for service, the majority of which are medical in nature. The department remains dedicated to providing compassionate, competent care to the Nolensville community whenever needed—day or night.
