Caney Fork Electric Cooperative representatives joined a large group of volunteers in braving frigid temperatures in January to help those in need by participating in Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church’s semiannual mobile food pantry. Sponsored by TVA, the program provides to several hundred families food thanks to the efforts of caring hearts from local businesses who volunteer their time. CFEC was honored to be a part of this amazing community event. Also on hand to help was 2018 Washington Youth Tour delegate Blake Moore, a student at DeKalb County High School.
