Bell Witch Fall Festival
Sun., September 24, 2:00 pm-Sat., October 28, 7:30 pm
Less than an hour outside of Nashville, the skyline dissipates giving way to rolling fields cloaked with the spicy, earthen smoke from dark-fired tobacco barns. The winding roads lead you to the heart of Adams, Tennessee– The home of the most documented haunting in American history– The Bell Witch. For over 20 years, just steps from the Bell family graves, The Bell Witch Fall Festival has celebrated the stories of local history and legend. The month-long festival begins with the FREE event, Red River Tales, leading to the acclaimed musical SMOKE which stories the tobacco wars of the early 1900s, and the grand finale, the haunting, nail-biting masterpiece of SPIRIT: The Authentic Story of the Bell Witch of Tennessee.
