Centennial Park Orienteering (Map and Compass) event!

You may start the course anytime between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. •

• Beginner (with control flags) and advanced (no control flags) courses offered. •
• E-punching will not be offered as this will be a MapRun event (see below for more information about MapRun). •
• $10 for adults
• $8 for juniors (20 years and under)
• Late registration begins Wednesday, September 6th, at midnight. Courses increase to $10 for juniors and $12 for adults.
• Registration closes Friday, September 8, at noon.
• Please bring water!
• The event is rain or shine!
Maprun is a cell phone app on which the map of Centennial Park is loaded. In the advanced course, when you find the control location in the park, your phone plays a triumphant song. We can also chart your progress against others with Maprun. Please download Maprun (not Maprun 6) from the iTunes store (Apple Store) or the Google Play Store (Android) before coming to the event. Make sure your phone has a good charge for when you start the orienteering course, or, if you have one, bring a power pack for your phone.
