Cinnamon Hot Chocolate Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 3 sticks cinnamon
- 5 1-ounce squares bittersweet chocolate chopped
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond or peppermint extract
Instructions
- Place the milk and cinnamon sticks in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Whisk in the chocolate and brown sugar. Stir until the chocolate has completely melted and the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and almond or peppermint extracts. Ladle into warm mugs and serve immediately.
