Louie the Lightning Bug and his Washington Youth Tour friends recently flew into the Tipton County Public Library. Children saw a fun video about electricity and learned how electricity is made, how it improves our lives and also how dangerous electricity can be if we do not respect its power. They were taught many safety tips because Louie always wants people to “Play it Safe Around Electricity.”
If you missed Louie at the Tipton County Public Library, you can still learn how to “Play it Safe” by visiting our website or YouTube channel. You will find the video from Louie and several short clips to reinforce safety with students of all ages. View the videos in the convenience of your own home, or teachers can use them in the classroom. Find Louie’s videos at www.stemc.com/louie-lightning-bug.
