Caramel Nut Fudge Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
- 50 caramels unwrapped
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk divided
- 1 19-ounce box German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13-by-9-inch baking dish and set aside. Place the caramels in a heavy saucepan over medium heat along with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk, stirring frequently. In a separate bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter and remaining milk. Blend well. Spread half of the cake batter in the prepared pan and bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Sprinkle evenly with chocolate chips and pecans. Drizzle the caramel mixture and cover with the remaining batter. Bake 15 minutes longer. Cool before slicing and cut in small pieces. NOTE: Will be fudge-like!
