Chocolate Meringues Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar

- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Grease a baking sheet and set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, stir together the cocoa powder, sugar and cream of tartar. Gently fold into the egg whites, but do not over-stir. Drop with a teaspoon onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between each. Bake 9-10 minutes or until set. Immediately place on a wire rack to cool completely before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
