My Favorite Hummus Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 can garbanzo beans 19 ounce, drained and rinsed
- 4 garlic cloves peeled
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- dash hot sauce
Instructions
- Place the beans and garlic in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse to chop. Add the oil, juice, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Process until smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary. Spoon serving into a serving bowl, cover and chill at least 1 hour before serving.
- Alternative: Add 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley and 3 sliced green onions to the food processor before pureeing.
