Pizza Scones Recipe

By Tammy Algood Published: February 1, 2016

  • Yield: 4 Servings

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and lightly grease a pizza pan. Set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the baking mix, Cheddar, tomatoes, olives, pepperoni, cornmeal, onion powder, Italian seasoning and 2 tablespoons of the Parmesan. Make a well in the center and stir in the buttermilk until a soft dough forms. Turn out on a lightly floured surface and pat into an 8-inch circle. Brush with the oil and sprinkle with the pepper and remaining Parmesan. Cut into 8 wedges and transfer to the prepared baking pan. Bake 15 minutes or until golden-brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Package and serve with the pizza sauce.
