Prepare and freeze with any soup or stew
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose baking mix
- 2 cloves garlic peeled and minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion salt
- 1 cup milk
- 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter melted
- 1 16-ounce package crumbled feta cheese
- 1 8-ounce container small-curd cottage cheese
- 3 eggs lightly beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 15-by-10-inch jellyroll pan and set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine the baking mix, garlic, chives, parsley, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the center and add the milk, butter, feta, cottage cheese and eggs. Stir to blend and transfer to prepared jellyroll pan and spread evenly. Bake 30 minutes or until golden-brown. Let cool on a wire rack completely before cutting into squares.
