Grandmother’s Milk Gravy Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons bacon drippings
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk warm
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the drippings. Whisk in the flour and cook 1 minute or until bubbly. Gradually stir in the warm milk and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add more warm milk if you want a thinner gravy. Season with the salt and pepper and serve warm over hot biscuits.
