Shaved Pear and Warm Pecan Salad Recipe

  • Yield: 4 Servings



  1. Place the shallots, mustard, lemon juice, vinegar and sugar in a food processor or blender and puree. Slowly add the oil in a thin stream with the motor running and blend until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Add the pecans and cook 1 minute, stirring frequently.
  3. Arrange the lettuce on serving plates and top evenly with the pears. Sprinkle the warm pecans over the top and drizzle with the dressing. Serve immediately.
