Zesty Orange Grits Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup grits quick-cooking
- 1 cup orange juice
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 11/2-quart casserole dish and set aside.
- Place 3 cups of water in a medium saucepan and place over medium-high heat. As soon as the water comes to a boil, stir in the salt and grits. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from the heat source and stir in the orange juice, butter, eggs and zest. Mix well and pour into the prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle the top evenly with the brown sugar. Bake 45 minutes or until set. Let rest 5 minutes before serving warm.
