Beer Brisket Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 6 1/2 pound beef brisket
- 2 12-ounce bottles beer
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees and place the brisket in a roasting pan. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the beer, sugar, salt, pepper and paprika. Pour over and around the brisket, then tightly cover with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Roast 6 to 7 hours. Remove from the oven and let stand uncovered 30 minutes before slicing thinly across the grain and serving warm.
