Go Green Chicken Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 firm avocado halved and pitted
- 1 small sweet onion peeled and quartered
- 2 tomatillos husked, cored and halved
- 4 cloves garlic peeled
- 1 jalapeno pepper halved and seeded
- 1 poblano pepper seeded and quartered
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves fresh
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Grilled chicken breasts
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high heat. Meanwhile, thread the avocados, onions, tomatillos, garlic, jalapenos and poblanos alternately on skewers and brush with the oil. Grill 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the vegetables are charred in spots. Cool slightly and remove from the skewers. Transfer to a blender.
- Add the cilantro, water, juice and salt. Puree until smooth. Serve over grilled chicken breasts.
